Dr David Corbet is an educator, designer, writer and curator based in Sydney, Australia, with a research focus on trans-disciplinary visual cultures and global exhibition practices across the Indo Pacific, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. He lectures and tutors in art and design disciplines at postgraduate and undergraduate level, and has graduate qualifications the University of Sydney (PhD), UNSW (MFA); AFTRS and University of the Arts London. He has commissioned, edited and contributed to several books and exhibition catalogues, and has authored many articles about contemporary visual culture and exhibition practice across diverse platforms worldwide. He has creatively led significant design programs in the cultural sector, and has worked with diverse artists, institutions and collaborators as an exhibition curator, designer and publication editor.
